Bank of Baroda commenced its business from a small building in Baroda in 1908 with a paid up capital of Rs 10 Lakhs with an insight from a visionary Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad. The bank invites application for recruitment to the post of Specialist Officer from Indian citizens on a probation period of 12 months.

Educational Qualification
·                          Security: Graduation from a recognized University or equivalent qualification
·                          Treasury/ Forex: Masters Degree in Finance/ Banking/ Treasury/ International Trade/ CA/ ICWA
·                          Human Resource Management: MBA/ PGDM (2 Years) in HRM/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations/ HRD or Post Graduation in Social Work having specialization in HRM/ PM/ IR/ HRD from recognized Institute/ University
·                          Risk Management: MBA (Finance) preferably FRM/ Post Graduate Diploma (2 Years) in Risk Management
·                          Credit: MBA (Finance)/ MBA (Banking & Fin.), ICWA/ CA
·                          Technical: BE (Mech./ Electrical/ Electronics/ Chemical/ Civil) with MBA in Finance
Experience Required
·                          Security: Minimum 5 years
·                          Treasury/ Forex: Minimum 3 years
·                          Human Resource Management: Minimum 3 years
·                          Risk Management: Minimum 3 years
·                          Credit: Minimum 3 years
·                          Technical: Minimum 3 years
Age Limit (as on 1 May 2012): Minimum 21 years, Maximum 37 years
Pay Scale: Rs 19400- 700/1- 20100- 800/1- 28100; Total Emoluments at the basic of pay is Rs 34,000 in a metropolitan centre.
Selection Procedure for recruitment in Bank of Baroda: Selection for the post of Specialist Officer will be based on personal interview in the ratio of 1:4 for General category and 1:5 for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Candidates possessing more than prescribed work experience in the relevant discipline shall get preference.
A personal interview shall be conducted to assess the candidate's personality, level of communication, clarity & problem solving innovativeness, level of efficiency, willingness to work in any part of the country, suitability for the post etc.  The minimum qualifying marks would be 40% for General Category and 35% for Reserved Category. Candidates not clearing the personal interview will not be considered for final selection.
Interview Centres: The interviews are likely to be held at Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, & Kolkata.  However Bank reserves right to add or delete Interview Centres

Application Fee: Fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ candidates is Rs 50 and fee for other category students is Rs 200.
The payment need to be paid via online mode only by using MASTER/VISA debit/ credit cards by providing information as asked on the screen.
After applying On-Line, take two (2) Print-Outs of the duly filled in Computerised System Generated Application Form. This system generated print out of the application should be signed by the candidate and kept with him to be produced at the time of interviews.
